The base is a heavy sueded silk that is remarkably sound. The color is a deep deep navy so deep it is almost black. Onto this is a stunning beaded design. It is made of thousands of tiny glass beads and these are unusual in that they are painted in a variety of colors that have a faint metallic sheen to them. Pinks and bright blues mix with deep olives and coppers. The
