James Welling: Lamp, Milan, 2024 Tacita Dean plain paperMarian Goodman Gallery is pleased to present three limited editions by James Welling published on the occasion of his solo show, Thought Objects, Italy and France at our Paris gallery. The three photographs were made by Welling in the spring of 2024 during a month long residency at the American Academy in Rome. To create these images, he uses a digital variation of 1970s equidensity processing that had its origin in analog photography. Similar to
