This large, heavy weight tankard is masterfully wrought in Britannia standard 958 purity silver, a higher silver purity than even sterling silver. It has handsome gadrooned decoration on both the base and the lid and an elegant fluted thumbpiece with scrolls on the edges. There is a monogram on the handle of the letter W over the letters I and M in block script. This
