Antique Quill Cutter Book this was a special edition1 5 8" blade of carbon steel, 3 3 4" closed length One piece antique ivory handle Nickel silver and carbon steel cutter mechanism Steel back spring Dates to the mid 1800's, good condition (there is staining and light pitting on the steel parts, and scratching on the nickel silver fittings) This quill cutter is different from most in that it has a small cover which conceals the end of the cutting mechanism and opens when the cutter itself is opened.
